Rowan bought a side of undyed leather.

Russet, leatherworkers call it: natural tan, no dye, the colour of the hide itself. It darkens with every year of use.

At the market people asked for that colour.

Belts, straps, card cases and bags, all cut from the same russet hide.

“Where can I find you online?”

Nobody remembered a clever brand. They typed what they wanted, russet, and went wherever those words led.

Leather that ages with its owner.

Russet goods wrapped in paper, sent pale and ready to darken.

This name is waiting for its Rowan.

Rowan is made up. The name is real, and it is for sale. It suits a leather-goods brand working in natural russet leather, a leathercraft supplies shop, or a short brand name for heritage goods.

Those are only the uses we can picture. Someone who is a real innovator, a creative destroyer in Joseph Schumpeter’s sense, will see in this name something nobody has imagined yet, and build that instead.

It is priced on enquiry, with a reply inside one business day. Payment goes through independent escrow, and the name is pushed to your registrar, usually within 24 hours.
